Sunday Lunch after Volleyball

Every Sunday at about Noon Come join the volleyball players for lunch at the Redondo Beach Brewing Company located at 1814 S. Catalina, Redondo Beach. (310) 316-8477. Remember the 20% gratuity rule.

Beach Walk + Happy Hour @ Kincaid’s

Walking is the perfect exercise. We meet at the Elks Lodge South parking lot which is at the intersection of Catalina and Esplanade at 4:30 PM. Walking is followed by Happy Hour at Kincaid’s – 500 Fisherman’s Wharf, Redondo Beach – Drinks are 1/2 price as well as the appetizers during the Happy Hour which lasts to 6 PM. People who don't walk can go to Kincaid’s (5pm) and the walkers will join you there. Call Maureen..

Veterans’ Breakfast at Torrance Elks

Enter at signal where the huge parking lot is located.   There are 2 buildings Café the smaller.

Ride The Rails(Amtrak)to San Diego

Let’s ride the rails to San Diego and Coronado Island.  We’ll meet at the Green Line Station on Marine Ave & Redondo Beach Ave at 7:30am.  We’ll carpool to Amtrak Station in Fullerton. Cost is about $50..  Our train leaves at 9am for San Diego.  On arrival in San Diego, we’ll walk a few short blocks & catch the bus to Coronado Island and get off at Hotel Del Coronado where we’ll have lunch on Sun Deck.  After lunch we can browse the hotel which was built in 1888.  Our train leaves for Fullerton at 6:45pm.  Call Lou for info.

  ALL MEMBERS WELCOME – The Planning meeting for this month will be held at the Torrance  Marie Callender's Restaurant, located at the corner of Hawthorne Blvd. and Torrance in restaurant row (310) 540-9696.  They have good food & drinks.    Eat early so we can be ready to start at 6:30 PM.    All attendees are encouraged to have dinner or appetizers and drinks to show our appreciation to the restaurant for allowing us to hold our meetings.    Remember the 20% gratuity rule.
